Just wondering what related texts people are using for Module C, specifically Julius Caesar, but relateds for the other core is probably not a bad idea.

Hey Dougie. It's Josh C.
I used Frost/Nixon (same as Nick CC) and I thought it worked well. Also for a second related do something easy and quick. Like....a news article or feature article etc. I found David Marr's essay/article on Kevin Rudd's leadership useful too.

Yeah, me too and it did work well.
I think the news articles are a good idea, but I only have one.
I might try looking up the David Marr article.
Thanks.

I also did Frost/Nixon and even though it is widely used its really easy to compare the political nature of both texts.
I have been looking for a political article, but have not found one yet, however i have heard tat there is an article on the Bill Henson photo controversy that is quite popular, but is hard to link to Julius Caesar.

I'm sure somebody did the poem 'Dulce et Decorum est', but I can't remember who. I'm thinking aobut doing this, but finding it difficult to get enough depth on it, so if you read this and you did study this poem, please notify me, preferably with notes! :D I promist I'm not simple scavenging, I'm doing it for the cohort!

I found a good second related for Caesar and Frost/Nixon was Paul Keating's letter to Bob Hawke: http://www.theage.com.au/national/paul-keatings-letter-to-bob-hawke-20100715-10cfx.html I'd say you can relate it to Brutus and Cassius, as well as a broader demonstration that controlling representation determines which perspective becomes the truth.
